New Partnership: Kemp & Lauritzen Chooses KlarPris as Procurement System

Kemp & Lauritzen sought a standardized system to enhance the company’s procurement across departments. The decision has now been made, and KlarPris has been chosen as the procurement system. This means KlarPris will be used by the company’s 2,500 users going forward.

When KlarPris was acquired by the private equity firm Adelis Equity Partners in 2021, the clear goal was to make the system attractive to major players in the installation industry. Just one year after the acquisition, KlarPris has now secured a deal with Denmark’s leading technical company, Kemp & Lauritzen.

The agreement means that KlarPris will be implemented throughout the entire organization, and Kemp & Lauritzen’s 2,500 users will conduct all their purchasing through KlarPris’ procurement system, which will be called “myProcurement” (mitIndkøb) by the company’s users.

“We are, of course, incredibly proud that Kemp & Lauritzen has chosen our system! They are a giant in the industry, and they have been selective and highly thorough in the process, so it is an honor to have passed the needle’s eye and ultimately win the task,” says Jens Davidsen, CEO of KlarPris.

From Price Comparison to a Complete and Data-Driven Procurement System

Most people know KlarPris for its famous price comparison tool, which the company pioneered and popularized in the industry in 2014. Since then, the system has evolved, and today KlarPris offers a range of features that digitize and streamline the procurement process, providing unique insights into purchasing data across wholesalers, suppliers, and manufacturers.

These features were particularly important for Kemp & Lauritzen. During the selection process, the company placed great emphasis on digitizing and streamlining the purchasing journey for its users while creating the best conditions to optimize deals.

“We were incredibly positively surprised by KlarPris. The procurement system is the only standardized system on the market that contains all the features necessary for a company of our size. The process and collaboration have been fantastic, so we are excited about the future we are entering together,” says Jens Christian Riegels Thisted, Head of Procurement at Kemp & Lauritzen.
