1. What is covered by this privacy policy?

This privacy policy describes how KlarPris (also referred to as “we” and “us”) uses your data in connection with:

  1. Visiting KlarPris’ websites
  2. Using the Marketplace
  3. KlarPris’ marketing processes

2. What information does KlarPris collect about me?

The information we collect about customers helps us personalize and improve our product and our websites. Here are the types of information we collect:

  1. Information you provide us: We receive and store information you enter on our website and on the Marketplace. This may include contact details if you book a demo, and information entered under “User Profile” on the Marketplace. We only process general personal data, not sensitive personal data. We use this information, among other things, to provide support.
  2. Automatic information: Certain types of information are automatically received when you visit our websites. For example, we use “cookies” on our websites, which provide us with anonymized data about the device and browser you use to visit our site.
  3. Newsletters: We use web beacons to make our newsletters more relevant to you. A web beacon is a piece of code that tells us whether you received our email, opened it, and clicked on any links in the newsletter.
  4. Information from integration partners: We occasionally receive information from our integration partners. Click here to see our integration partners and the types of data we receive from them.

3. What about cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored by your web browser when you use websites. You can control how websites use cookies by configuring your browser settings (see your browser’s help function for more about cookie controls). Note that if you completely disable cookies, KlarPris’ website may not function optimally for you. For instance, the website will not remember your login to the Marketplace. Therefore, we recommend that you leave your cookies enabled. Read our cookie policy here.

4. How does KlarPris use my information?

KlarPris uses the information we collect about you for the following purposes:

  1. To fulfill a contract or take steps related to a contract (this typically occurs when you register as a user and accept our terms of use)
  2. To verify your identity
  3. To process payments
  4. To send important information (for example, related to payments or subscription expiration), and newsletters
  5. To provide customer service or support

5. Does KlarPris share my personal data with others?

We share your data with data processors (subcontractors) and, in some cases, with data controllers (partners).

  1. Subcontractors: We share your personal data with companies that help us run our business by processing personal data on behalf of KlarPris. These companies include payment service providers, newsletter platforms, and CRM systems. All our subcontractors are subject to data processing agreements, ensuring that they handle your data responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws. You can view an overview of our subcontractors and the data they receive by clicking here.
  2. Partners: Our partners often include manufacturers and wholesalers who sell products via the Marketplace. For example, we may forward your information to a wholesaler if you wish to open an account with them. Click here to see which partners we may forward your information to, if you request us to do so.

Your consent: You will always receive a consent declaration if we wish to use your information in ways not described in this privacy policy or in our terms of use. Of course, we will never use your information for other purposes without your consent.

6. How does KlarPris process and store my data?

Are my personal data secure?

We are aware that the security of your personal data is important. Therefore, we use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal data.

Where does KlarPris store my personal data?

Your personal data and files are stored on KlarPris’ servers, on the servers of companies that provide services to us, as well as with partners you request us to share data with.

Does KlarPris transfer my personal data across borders?

We may transfer your personal data to other countries in compliance with applicable laws. Data is processed only within the EU or in the USA with companies that are part of the Privacy Shield network.

7. How long does KlarPris store my data?

When you register as a user on the Marketplace, we process and store most of your personal data as long as you are an active user of our platform. When we no longer need your data, it will be deleted. When you close your account, we begin deleting certain personal data after 90 days, such as your password and payment details. However, we typically retain personal data related to our contract and business transactions with you for 5 years after your last interaction with us.

We process personal data for marketing purposes until you ask us to stop, and for a short period afterward (to allow us to fulfill your requests). We also maintain a permanent record that you have asked us not to send direct marketing, or process your data, to respect your request in the future.

8. Your rights

As a data subject, you have the right to access the information we process about you. You also have the right to data portability, which means you can receive your data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.

Additionally, you have the right to rectify any incorrect data, the right to have your data erased from our systems, and the right to object to how we process your data. Finally, you have the right to withdraw your consent.

9. Changes to the terms of use and privacy policy

If you choose to visit our websites, your visit and any privacy-related disputes will be subject to this policy, our terms of use, and Danish law. Our business changes continuously, and so do our privacy policy and terms of use. Therefore, you should regularly check our website to see the latest changes. Unless otherwise specified, our current privacy policy applies to all information we have about you.

10. Who can I contact if I have questions or concerns?

If you have questions about our privacy policy, issues, or requests regarding the protection of personal data, you can contact support@klarpris.dk.
